Possibilities Playground is 75% funded - help us in the home stretch
The Castle Rock Parks and Trails Foundation's current fundraising project for the first half of 2023 is to raise $300,000 more for the Possibilities Playground, our first inclusive playground in all of Douglas County. Last year, we secured nearly $1M in donations and sponsorships for the project.
With the help of an anonymous gift of $100,000, we invite you to have your gift doubled through April 30th, making a huge impact in our efforts! The remainder of the funds will be used to purchase the last pieces of equipment and provide the final buildout of the playground. We are committed to raising the remaining funds and are confident we can do it with your help!
Why it's important: Among the parks and playgrounds in Castle Rock, we don't yet have a space that is open to people of all abilities. The Castle Rock Parks and Trails Foundation feels it's important to create inclusive spaces in our community, to welcome all our residents, and get people playing outdoors. Your donation will be matched and will fund equipment and infrastructure in the playground.
The Castle Rock Parks and Trails Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the recreational, educational, and cultural life of the community by supporting projects in the Town's parks and open space system.
